Do you use a looper?
How do you apply looping to your playing? Do you use it as a way to make a bass track and play over with other instruments? Or do you use it to learn to solo over? Or is it something else?

I use mine to help with composing, as I find it hard to have a track in my head and then hear something over the top

Reason I ask is because I'm etting the Jamman Express tomorrow and I was going to use it for the same reason too. Composing and some solo stuff

I just got the Pigtronix Infinity Looper, and previously have used it to compose solo bass pieces, as well as write out some other ideas, work on soloing, etc.. Loopers in general are probably one of the best practice tools, aside from playing in a band/group.
