Is this doable?

I have this old line6 floorboard lying around and the resale value on these is not much as far as I can see. So I was thinking of gutting it and rewiring the pots and pedals as such:

the bottom row of 6 switches would each be an FX loop/bypass

the two upper switches 1-mute/tuner and the other would turn all the loops on

the volume pedal would need to be rewired but would still be a volume control

and the wah pedal I would like to use as an expresion pedal for a moag pedal of mine but I have no idea how to rewire that

what do you guys think other than drilling a few holes for send/returtns and some rewiring and doesn't seem that hard but maybe I missing something

Unless you're great at that kind of thing I think you might not want to. Specifically, I would check out the specs on the thing you want to use as an exp pedal. Not every pedal can see some exp values. I know there is a difference between CV and whatever digital pedals like to see. My main concern would be a line6 exp out not feeding a CV in the thing it wants. I've got some weird exp things and some units wont see it, some use trs cables, and some are fine. I would check that out before you drill and solder.??

so basically you're just using the actual box, and replacing the guts... if you know how to do this you're fine, but the fact that you had to ask on a forum might mean you're in over your head. the only way to learn is to try though, so i say go for it.
