DOD 250 alternative (or a place to buy said pedal in Canada?)

Thread title says it all I suppose. Just sorta looking for something similar. MXR Distortion+ maybe?

Also, can't seem to find a place in Canada that lists these. Tried the one distributor listed on DOD.com (or whatever), but their website kept ****ing up......

Just a heads up... the 250 sucks with a solid state head (IMO and IME)

At stock, yes.
I had mine modded to have a tone knob w/ a big muff tonestack to help the general bass loss. It was MUCH better like this and could even cop some pseud0o-BBBOD tones. Much better w/ mods.

The other option is the classifieds on here or on other forums, too!

This store ships to Canada; it's where I got mine:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...D_DOD250V.html

Brand-new and only $35.00 + shipping. Pretty stinkin' hard to beat! (On eBay, some clowns are actually selling this very same reissue pedal for $99.00 -- As they say, caveat emptor when shopping the 'Bay!)
