Give me the run down here. I think I want a Time Bomb Boost but am wondering if they are good for bass, retain low end, have tone suckage, etc etc? Any insight would be great!

i only have experience with the reissue. sounds great with guitar stock, but for bass, you really need to swap the caps.

yeah. i remember reading on some other thread years ago that the vintage 250 is a bit better stock with the bass response.

the 250 used to be the "it" pedal five or six-ish years ago, so there are going to be some number of threads on it.

no idea about the time bomb boost, but gearmandude is awesome. on the one hand, i want to try out his luther drive. on the other hand, i can probably try and build something similar my self, if i so desired.

i think after exhausting the tb archives, you can check out what byoc has to say about all of the 250-based variants. they sell a kit with lots of modification capabilities. http://www.buildyourownclone.com/250.html

(heck, you might want to check out the byoc forums first. you'd really have to dig around tb's archives for the 250 chat, i suspect.)
