DOD compressor pedal shows up not working right
My luck just sucks,
I got a dod pedal off ebay here,
They said it was checked out and works as it should only it does NOT work with a battery just power supply.
What kind of electronics place could fix this? I live in a small town with limited industry. Can any electronic guy fix it or does it have to be a specialist?
Do you think I should seek a partial refund?
the site shows you have 14 days to refund it. you just pay return shipping.
Any shmoe with a soldering iron can replace the battery connector, if that's the problem.
I agree that the smartest thing would be to return it for a refund.
Especially because that gives you a do-over chance to buy a different pedal, hint hint. :)
Kinda sick of mistakes of sellers costing me money though. I could dispute it as not as described and they would be out the money and the pedal not that I would do that but some would and i would think they would take better care in their listings.
What I am going to press for is a partial refund, no less then 50%.
If your return is based on the item not being in advertised condition, you can ask the seller to tack additional money onto the refund to cover your return shipping. That has worked for me in the past (when I asked for it).
I have decided to return it. It seems to be on its last legs. First time I used it just the battery function did not work. I plugged it in tonight and the indicator light no longer works! I can click the pedal and tell the compressor is working but the indicator no longer does.
Junk and going back.
