mf says it is DOD FX25 Envelope Filter Pedal but on that pic you can see fx25b..?? so whats this about?
or am totaly ignorant and fx25 and fx25b are the same

the second review on the mf page says it has a volume drop issue; is that true?
i another thread aboout "cheap but good Envelope Filter" some guys totally recomended the fx25 so should i expect some cool funky sounds in the real world from it?

That's the FX25B. It's the current production model. Believe that the FX25 is discontinued.

Essentially the same but most people rave about the earlier edition FX25s.

I've got the FX25B and it sounds pretty funky to me. Bypass is not the best. Never tried a FX25 so I can't really comment.

The fx25 was discontinued many years ago.
