DOD FX25 Power Questions

Sign in to disble this ad
So I'm about to snag one of these old DOD FX25 filters but I'm wondering how best to power it. Does it have a positive tip? Can I use a converter to run it off a 1-spot? What's the ma draw if I do? Do I need a dedicated power supply for it?

The 1spot combo pack comes with a converter that will work fine. I used the Pedal Power 2+ as it also comes with a cable for those DOD pedals.

Good job Jared. Yeah you'll just need a 1/8 plug or a 9V clip.

Ok cool. I don't have a PP2+ at the moment but I do have a 1-spot. Any idea what the current draw would be with a converter and if I'm going to have weird interactions with my other pedals because its not isolated?

I've had no odd interactions with other pedals. I'm just running it off the 1/8 plug from my 1 Spot. Very funky little pedal!

That's great news. I want to run it after my Bass Octave Deluxe with the sensitivity off for sub bass type stuff.

1spot comes with an adaptor for it, that works just fine.

its not so bad on battery-eating, either.
