since i cant seem to find any fx25's and the fx25b's are alot cheaper, would the b be a good alternative for a similar sound? anybody use them? got clips, thanks?

Yeah, the B sounds pretty much the same to me as the later versions of the non-B. The very oldest ones sound better IMO, but the B does the job.

Yes, although there was a transitional period where the DC jack was a 1/8" female (like a headphone jack on an iPod), and in that period the ideal power it was designed for was 10V, but they'd run fine on 9V. The later ones have the "normal" Boss type plug and are meant for 9V.

Be patient- if you really want one of the older ones, they seem to come in waves; I've seen the market where there's a ton of non-B models when I was actually after a b(my pref). They're out there.

Since people figured out you could lower the sensitivity so it doesnt sweep and make the thickest dub bass ever, they're probably in higher demand

Now Im not gonna say you should definatly wait around for an older avacado green fx-25. Some people like the fx-25b better.


But I sure am glad I waited for an older one.
