DOD Mystic Blues overdrive - Similar to BD-2?

I loved the sound of the Boss BD-2 when I had a go on one at a shop. Ive just come across this DOD FX102 Mystic Blues overdrive thing, and was wondering is it anything like the BD-2?

I don't know about the dod, but I found the bass XXL on minimal settings (drive at min or slightly past, warp full left, tone full left) can create a similar sound that is very touch responsive like the bd-2, and keeps a bit more low end.

I was asking about the DOD pedal not the XXL...
