DOD pedal and power supply question

Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings players. I have 2 DOD pedals that require a 1/8 stereo power supply cable. I also just brought a gator pedalboard with the power supply and daisy chain. the power supply needs to come out from the pedal as a stereo mini male, and go into the gator power supply as a male too, but the connector to the power supply is a barrell. So I really need a mini from out of the pedal itself to a mini into the power supply. Is there a turnaround or adapter I can get to turn the barrell female end back into a male stereo mini. Thanks

Yeah, there is. Look into the accessories for the Visual Sound One Spot, or for the Godlyke Powerall (these are two wall-wart-style high-current power supplies with lots of available accessories that can work with any power supply). You'll find plenty of adapters, including the 1/8" stereo plug you're looking for. Some older Electro-Harmonix and ProCo pedals use the same type of plug.

Elderly Music carries the 1 Spot adapters at a good price - it sounds like you may need both a polarity reverser and the 1/8" adapter, I have a DOD that needs reversal and another that doesn't...? BTW, I love the old DOD compressors, way better than Dynacomps or Bosses, and their graphic EQ's are the most musical-sounding, least-transistory too - around $25 each on Ebay, I have two of each or I'd be hoarding 'em up.

I agree man. These Dod pedals are really cheap and they seem to work great.
