What other pieces of gear do I need to buy if I want to record a sample off a cd or dvd?

What other gear do I need to use this live?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a computer with a USB port you have everything you would need.

An amp or PA to plug it into.

Lets say, record a few lines from One Flew Over The Coo Coos Nest. How easy is it to sample the audio and then use it in a live setting. Is doing that complicated? I've never used this kind of gear.
