might be considering parting with mine via ebay, but im struggling to find out how much one would cost the average joe who buys one from the corner store in AUS. problem is most music stores dont carry this pedal in australia, so im finding it hard to price.
any ideas? |

So you'll have to price around that. Otherwise they will simply get a new one for a cheaper price. I've bought almost everything from overseas, the only times ive bought from Australia were times when there was a used item priced below the international RRP.

There is no way someone shopping on Ebay will pay the Aussie price for one (unless their a total mug shot). Even if they just stumbled across your pedal by accident while browsing through effects, they will do a search to see what other ones are going, as you naturally do on ebay. Then they will see the international ones selling for half the price.
If selling on ebay, you need to search ebay for others being sold and price around that. Otherwise yours will be way over the mark. Aussie RRP is totally insane and I have no idea how local music shops sell anything other than picks and.... well... just picks really!

BBE Opto-Stomp for example, I only found one place that sells them for NZ$250 (approx. US$195).
Fulltone Bass-Drive: NZ$400 (approx. US$310).
Oh how I dream of going to America with a few hundred bucks to spend |

Last pedal i had shipped was only 13 bucks US for shipping. I'd have a close look if i were you, might be cheaper to spend you few hundred bucks from the comfort of NZ.
