Just came across this today. Is this really what these go for? I can't see bringing something like that on a gig for fear of damage or it being stolen.

I wouldn't pay that. I think I've seen them used for around $400 in good shape.

Not sure what the deal is with his vintage stuff on that site, it's always at the very top of the spectrum. Maybe it's his personal stuff he doesn't really want to sell, but would if someone was feeling crazy.

i've owned a couple of these and even with all the L sound mods its still not $995. that's outrageous.
