Does the Boss LS-2 click like a TB loop can?

Sign in to disble this ad
My guess is no because none of the other boss pedals do because their not true bypass. As soon as I get my true bypass patchbay dealy fixed and sold I need something small and simple to do the same job and this thing looks like it fits the bill...but I want to make sure the clicking will be a thing of the past.

I'm looking to leave several activated pedals in the loop and use the LS-2 to activate and deactivate them all simultaneously to create a unified effect (Two distortion pedals and a moog lowpass).

In summation: Will the Boss LS-2 click when activated with a bunch of gain heavy pedals in the loop?

thanks guys

loop

NO it will not. I love this pedal. It doesn't suck any tone that I can hear, and I am very anal about that. Whenever I want to use an effect that sucks tone, I use it with this looper. I also used it to blend in some distortion before I got my voodoo labs sparkle overdrive. This is one of the most useful pedals ever. Hows the weather is burlington? The snow hasn't stopped here in massena NY . Im about 3 hours away.

Thanks for the info! sounds like i should have thought a little more before i bought this super expensive unit I have right now. I had all these grand schemes that in the end proved completely unnecessary and probably only happened because I had the $$ to make it happen at the time. Ah well, live and learn.

its coming down pretty light but very steady right now, but it was clear last night. looks like its gonna be gusty today as well.

Not only that, but I find mine very handy as a general 'toolbox'. Turns my GK head into a 2-channel, in case someone wants to sponteniously jam, or I can plug a vocal signal in there.

..Or if I want to A/B something in the loops OR two different basses OR two different amps...

Or between clean effects setup and distortion effects, or for clean-blend.

I wouldn't be without it.

I bought myself an LS-2 just so I could blend my clean tone with effects. Hopefully it will prove itself pretty useful. I'll also power the rest of my pedals with it although I could just do that with my TU-2 also.
