Yes. The "Report Item" link is below the "Other Item Info" box. I just reported it.

edit: Actually, I couldn't report it. The categories you can report an item for do not cover lying about the item.

Really? Crapping on someone else's FS ad outside of TB? How does this guy's ad affect you? Some ppl need to get a life.

If you really feel the need to be helpful to buyers who don't do their homework then contact the seller and advice him and show proof that his claim isn't true.

eBay does squat in situation like this. You can report it but good luck on that. Useless

Really? Crapping on someone's post in the effects forum about someone scamming?

Please...better to bring scammers to light so people on here don't buy from him in the future!

Clearly you have some pent up issues... I really just thought it was funny... the price and the odd misrepresentation.

Though frankly I'd have no problem crapping on any ebay auction I feel like... as the saying goes there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Someone could report it as "fraudulent" - ebay certainly DOES cancel listings for listing violations, and it is done on the basis of complaints.

Correct, the menu item you want is called "You suspect an item is fraudulent--you did not bid".

850 seems steep for any pedal imo. Any ask the seller why they listed as only 50 made? Could be an honest mistake. You never know.

Using urban dictionary as a guide.

One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument

Additionally

The ad hominem attck directed at me would have got him a 'written warning' if it was aimed at anyone but me, but I can take it.

Not trying to start a fight but Urban Dictionary is not exactly a good guide to anything. I get what you're saying, but I just don't understand the whole troll thing. When a new member starts a thread about an effect that has already been talked about, the standard response is "do a search" or something even ruder at times. Are these people subject to the same "troll" label. I'm asking because I'm curious and because I like talkbass but would feel more comfortable knowing what exactly is acceptable and why.

Do you know the seller? Or are you just assuming he is scamming? How do you know he was not told by someone that this pedal is very rare with less than 50 made?

You thought it was funny but you called on others to act on it and report it? I would hate to see what you think is serious.

Well hi there Cartman! But seriously I have no pent up issues. I just dislike busybodies like my HOA. N ote that I am not arguing about an act of moderation in this forum. I am discussing this with you as the thread poster.
