Does it matter what order pedals go in?

Does the order of the pedals change your sound in any way?

Currently I have an EHX Bass MicroSynth into an EHX Big Muff Pi, then a Morley Classic Wah. Would if effect my sound in anyway if I changed the order?

Try it an find out!

Seriously, the standard answer to the age old "what order..." question around these forums is "it's what you like best." There are some general ideas that people tend to stick to like "compressor after envelope filter" or "ambient stuff (delay/chorus/phaser/etc) at the end," but... everyone's different and likes different things. There aren't really any hard & fast rules.

So... give it a try and see which you like best.

It absolutely matters, but mostly as a matter of preference.

Yes, but there is no set in stone "right" way to do it.
