does multieffects processor work with active pickups?

Hey people i have a boss me20b bass processor and nw im planning on buying the ibanez srx2ex1 bass guitar and it has active pickups
So will it work properly with my processor?

In all seriousness, yes, a multi-effects unit will work with active pickups, but only if you're seated while playing.

and are not barefoot. If you're barefoot and play an active bass it short-circuits the DSP in the multi.
