What do you want to effect after it? Personally, I would put octave pedals before my distortion, but everyone has different tastes! I would move your MXR to next to last followed by your chorus. Different orders make different effects do different things.

What kind of music are playing at the moment?

Octavers generally go first in line so they can get a good clean signal to track and generate an octave from. Sometimes they sound good after distortion but it can be more glitchy (which you might like!).
