I'm thinking about selling my Phase 100 and replacing it with a 90. I never use the intensity knob, it just stays cranked. I know there are like 5 versions. Anybody have a favorite? Standard M-101, Custom Shop Script, Handwired 1974 Vintage or EVH? It wont save much space, but I just don't need the full-sized 100.

This is third hand. I was googling around with this exact question a couple weeks ago and felt the "winner" consensus was the Script version. I ended up taking a sharp right turn and bought the EVH Flanger.

Good to know. I really don't like the looks of the EVH. Right now I can't decide between the standard or the script.

Personally, I like the standard one (it's on my board) and the script version. Either one should do you fine.

The script is more subtle that the normal.

Subtle is not good.

The '74 handwired is amazing. You can get all ranges of sounds from it, from very subtle, to an almost envelope filter type sound. The only thing bad about it, is that it only runs on battery power and there's no led. But sound wise it couldn't be better.

I could add an LED and a power jack easy.

I just had the current one. It had a nice enough sound. I wouldn't say it was subtle either.

I don't have any direct experience with the EVH model, but I would (and did) just stick with the standard one rather than one that is marketed (and voiced?) more around a guitar player.
