Have had one for many years, it was one of my 1st effect pedals when I still played guitar. It is a useful envelope follower not the phattest, or juiciest but still a good start in the envelope family. Dr Q does have a tendency to play better with other efx than many envelope pedals.
Have fun with it.

I'm mixing it with 4 other filters.

I remember the days of having 4 or 6 filters on my board. Tried to fix it with a Robot Factory Meatwad and nearly managed it but for a lack of programmability. Swapped that out for an Octavius Squeezer after a couple of years so now I can store as many filters as I want but I do miss the Meatwad it's got the best envelope follower I've ever used.

Yup. Curious about that one. I think I recall reading about it being a bit trebly for bass, but nothing like a good clip to clear things out.

Found this on the tube... gives a bit on indication.

I had 4 filters on the big board and still have 2 on the F16, several more at home in the box.

Cool. Maybe a Boss LS-2, or anything similar, could help. Always wondered about that pedal, but it doesn't get lots of attention here.

I used to have one, but honestly didn't like it very much. My MXR Bass Auto-Q, however, is one of my favorites ever.

Shame they don't make'em anymore. Settled on a 105Q instead. Which I'm told is the same circuitry.

I'm mixing 4 envelope filters with a pw-10 wah, behringer hellbabe with mods, a digitech distortion, boss digi delay, and am getting chorus and possibly flange and one more distortion.
