Alright, some of you may have read my pseudo review on johns latest prototype of the bass anger. The new run of anglers are less than a month from being done and offer a couple upgrades from the original. I'm sure most of you are aware that the angler is a top-notch bass overdrive pedal capable of mild to wild OD. I've got to know John and mentioned to him the idea of starting a tourbox here at talkbass to promote awareness of the angler and give people the option to try before buying, as its not available in brick and mortar stores. He loved the idea and gave me the go-ahead to put together this thread and compile the list.
For those who don't know how this will work I'm going to compile a list of interested TB'ers. Each member should keep the pedal for a few days, try it out, write a review, record clips, or just offer opinions for the TB community. John will send the initial unit out to the first member on the list and everyone participating will know who to send it to next. I would prefer that it is shipped USPS priority with confirmation, for speed and the ability to track the package. The last address on the list will be John at dredgetone.
I would like to limit the tourbox to 20 TB members with supporting memberships and at least one feedback on the buy/sell/trade forums. This is for US members only.
Anyone who is interested should send an email to timothy.ryan.fitzgerald at gmail dot com. Please make the subject "Angler Tourbox" and include the following in the body:
Full Name
TB username
Mailing address
Phone number
The unit will be ready to ship out to the 1st member on the list within a month. I will maintain contact with everyone involved and will ultimately make a phone call to everyone involved once i've completed the list.
