Drone/noise video

Got stoned bored earlier, and decided to have some fun with feedback and effects pedals. I never touch the bass during the whole thing, just let it sit about three feet away and feedback while I mess with knobs on my effects.

I was using my Epi T-Bird, Boss OC-3, Dunlop Crybaby Bass, Devi Ever Dark Boost, Supercollider, MXR Carbon Copy, my three Sunn amps, volume at 1, through my 4x10, 1x18, and a shallow Earth 2x15. If you have good speakers and a sub, please abuse them now...

UFC 666: Pat Robertson VS. The Haitian People

I wanted to name it that on Youtube, but I had a feeling the UFC reference would infringe on Youtubes copyright policies. ha

Anyways, enjoy it, hate it... whatever.

Thanks guys.

I plan on actually recording stuff like in the video, along with more riff oriented drone like Sunn. Might have to make a few effects purchases this year.

Nice. Same as me, but my epi is my main bass. I play in low tunings (mostly drop B) and my T-40 seems really finicky with them so until I figure that out, it's T-bird most of the time. I also have an Aria Pro II that someone modded with a jazz pickup between the bridge and split-p. It's a gnarly sounding little bass.

yeah, i try to avoid drop tunings because i keep my action super low, if i dropped it would just buzz all the time.
i just picked up a carbon copy tonight and let me say that thing is awesome. with the regen around 4:00, mix around 3:00, i can just hit a note and play with the regen and get some crazy sounds... cool stuff, i'm steadily becoming an effects junkie. i just wish i had the funds to get it all haha. keep up what you're doing, i enjoy it.
