Drottnar's bassist tone

The bassist for Drottnar has this tone that is just captivating for me, don't know why. I am not good with effects and I was wondering if you guys could tell me what effects you think he is using?

Sounds like he's just using a good tube amp--maybe a bass amp and/or a guitar head.

I gotta say, man...those guys seem pretty out there.

How much of the stuff did you listen to? It sounds like he is using effects of some sort in different parts of some of the songs. But then again, I don't know much about effects. But it sure sounds like to me that he is not just running through a tube amp. please help me out.
