dtr 1000 or 2000

does the 2000 have that many more important features.

i can get a 1000 for around 100 but there is a 2000 on the bay right now for 170 im thinking of getting that.

what ya guys say?

I don't think the 2000 has all that many "critical" features. After all, they are both tuners. And are both the same tuners. And you are buying one to get a tuner. So after that it is all icing.

The 2000 I have is nice, but I am not really sure that I really "need" the two imputs, or the light, or all the exotic tunings, or the mic imput. Actually, I know I don't need them. But it's cool to have, and likely increases the resale value.

If I just wanted a good tuner, then the 1000 is fine. If you want to impress the girls, get the 2000.
