If anyones interested in hearing this pedal in a live video I have one posted here.

Play the short compilation video on the left side of the page, it will get to the crybaby parts sooner. I use the pedal in front of a Boss ODB3 to get a nice growl from it.
Thanks

i noticed that the crybaby pedal sounds better when the volume on the pedal is on low... when i put it too high there is too much weird distortion and less wah wah

I noticed that too. But thats what the volume adjustment is there for. Placement also has a huge effect on how it sounds. I like having it before the overdrive. If you put the pedal after distortion or overdrive the Wah effect is more pronounced (quacky)and the usable range is narrowed.

i find that having the volume high makes the wah more pronounced. especially before dist/overdrive, the volume needs to be high to cut through the effect, and boost the dist like cliff burton did.

i like to place mine after my digitech synth wah so i can boost the wah effects from it. placing it before the filter makes its wah less prounced, and it seems to just raise or lower the volume of the filter.

all this being said, i also like to turn the volume down a bit otherwise the wah raises my overall volume, so when i release the pedal, everything becomes much quiter.

a problem ive had with my one though, is that it doesnt seem to want to use a standard 9V adaptor, and only wants to take batteries. batteries seem to last between a few days and a week, usually the wah becomes less pronounced within that time period, then dies about 2 weeks after the last battery. mines in a 1100 mA daisy chain sequence, and the the combined mA consumption of my other pedals is about 600 mA. i dont know whats wrong, maybe i need to buy a proper dunlop adaptor?
