Dunlop Crybaby Bass GCB100 Volume Drop

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, I know there's been a thread or two on here discussing the volume drop issue when engaging the switch on these pedals, and none of them have been very helpful, and I can't find a darn thing on the net that directly addresses this problem, so I'm going to ask one more time: Anyone know how to PROPERLY fix the volume drop issue? I just got one on the cheap and I'm not trying to drop alot of dough into getting this fixed. I can to all the PCB soldering myself, so if it's just a matter of replaceing certain components I'm more than capable of doing that. I just need to know what to do. Any help would be great guys!!!

I've got the other version the 105q bass wah. It has more of a volume drop when disengaged. The 'fix' it would seem is that dunlop added a trim pot that reduces the 'hesitation' when disengaging the pedal. Not sure if this is the same issue as what you speak of though.
