Dunlop Customer Support

Just a quick note about Dunlop.

I had an issue where the 9V connector to my 105Q Wah Pedal went missing and the battery door was damaged.

I sent Dunlop Tech Support an email requesting a part number for the connector (I had the part number for the door/foam). I got a response back in 5 minutes asking for a shipping address, as they will ship both pieces out today, free of charge.

I know they're not high dollar items, but the fact that I received a reply in a few minutes was awesome - the actual response was even better.

BTW, the 105Q Wah & the MXR M-80 Bass DI are seriously great pedals.

Were they missing from the factory? Or did you lose them?

Dunlop's customer service is one of the best in the business. They've hooked me up on several occasions.

I'm sure this came from the factory in perfect condition.
I bought this pedal used off a TB'er...in brutal shape, (unbeknownst to me)...missing the advertised wall wart - and he neglected to mention the missing 9V clip -

After I got the pedal without the power adapter, the seller told me rather matter-of-factly that he sold the wall wart to someone else as well. Pretty good business model right there. Selling the same item to 2 people... Oh well, live and learn. I buy a lot of music gear sight unseen, and this is the first time this has happened. Dunlop took care of it, though...no questions asked.

I just won't deal with this TB'er again.

I sent them an email about where I can get a replacement battery cover for my MXR M80 and they sent one to me free of charge. Excellent customer support.

All we need now is for them to develop a decent battery cover to replace the cheap plastic one
