Dunlop High Gain Volume Pedal - Active Use?

Sign in to disble this ad
Howdy.

I havew a chance to buy a local "High Gain" pedal

Went to the dunlop site - couldn't find specs.

Anyone tried one with an active bass..

Why need one? Like most acive basses.. the volume does not taper smooth.. I have to turn off the bass for this gig... this is a good place for some swells.

Any hindsight advice is appreciated.

Considering a Ball Jr.. this Dunlop ($40) is low cost and local.

Tim

According to the spare parts list for the GCB-80, the pot value is either 470k or 250k - either would be fine for passive instruments.

However, smoothness isn't an attribute that springs to mind when I think of the cry baby pedal action. But hey, at that price, what the heck?!
