I've wandered pretty far and wide in search of personal entertainment and pedals, but I'm not sure I've met a stranger pedal than Dwarfcraft Devices - The Great Destroyer (TGD). Video - The Great Destroyer (note: he plays bass as the third instrument @ around 5 min mark). I would watch this video if you find the pedal interesting at all, because he comments on the variance of sound by equipment, and you can hear some different sounds than I'm getting out of it.
This is a noise, circuit bent destruction in a Fuzz disguise. It's possible to get some pretty great 'regularish' fuzz tones out of it, but I don't think that's the intention.
The knobs are (left to right) Volume, Secondary Gain, Primary Gain, Starve. The starve knob cuts the available power to the circuit and things start to get crazy.
Samples: - 1
- 2
- 3

Hm, that has interesting implications.

j | I dunno, watch Matt Bellamy of Muse, the guy could entertain the crowd for hours by just fiddling with the knobs on his guitar |

I'm getting ready to do some noise experiments pretty soon, if I get heavily involved with it I could see myself picking up one of these.
