PREORDERED.
When I had a super-rare '78 Rat (that I had to sell ) it was probably one of the heaviest tones I've had that retained good note attack. I seriously can't wait to get this puppy.

I am already eager to see how it compares to my Rat Tail.

Too bad the black/black ones are gone though.....

I've wanted a rat clone for a long time and I'm super excited this is on it's way. Can't do a comparison with the Rat Tail unless someone has one in the Houston area and wants to get together.

Too bad the black/black ones are gone though..... | Yeah, I really don't need anymore. I have a Rat Tail, a Bluebeard, and a custom Mail Order Muff. I sold many fuzz pedals to get here, but what the hell!
I assume since the black on black ones are no longer available, I am one of the lucky ones! Quote:

EDIT: I'm sorry. That probably sounds extremely racist. Mordecai Richler's The Incomparable Atuk is one of my favorite books. Atuk rules.

It's not up on his youtube channel yet though...

I think the clipping options and the OD/Dist MAY make this worth existing.
IDK
I used to have a rat from the early 80s. It was my first pedal. It was good on guitar and sucked on bass. |

Simple circuit = WIN
Easy to build = WIN
Popular sound = WIN
Easy to sell = WIN
Looks like a winner!

I agree but again above sentence. | I'm not saying anything about build quality or beauty of the gear. I am simply expressing my surprise that there is a market for it.
And no kidding on the muffs...There are so so many, and lots of them sound exactly the same. |

The Rat things is kind of lame, but Earthbound Audio makes cool enough stuff that I'd at least try it.
Everything seems to be the same in fuzz anymore. I'm very seldom wowed by it.
Thought I'd never say that either. |

Thought I'd never say that either. | The market is totally saturated, IMO. There are so many companies doing similar stuff that even if you do make something that sounds cool or different, people don't care. Too many fuzz pedals.... |
