Earthbound is a one man operation so I could forgive the build time but I would have a hard time with lack of communication. |

I know it was stated that original intents were to ship second week of October but that has long been past with very little communication with clients. I hope this thing shows up soon and Mark doesn't go Ziebek on us here...

Just a few minutes ago I got an email from mark saying that my Iron Pig has shipped and should be showing up on my doorstep either tomorrow or Thursday.

Hope you enjoy it, dude. Since I'm up here in Canada, I have a longer wait.

It's a beast of a pedal and does the Rat thing perfect (which is expected) but I am also liking the other tones it can do.
It was a long wait but in the end well worth it!

My old Supercollider I stupidly traded a few months back arrived though. |

Cause i'm really wanting one of these or should I hold off? |

Now, what's cooler black and yellow or orange and black.
I can't decide |

Oh, and it went straight through customs - I LOVE it when that happens!

I'm a bit disapointed to say the least. I'm on the next run so I'll have to be patient. But come on and post something enlightening. How does it compare to a rat tail, for instance... Thanks as always.

Initial thoughts after a few rounds with the pig:
Good lord this is a heavy feeling and well built box. Constriction feels very stout. Paint and graphics are high quality and controls are well laid out. The led is a mid bright one so no blinded retinas here.
Sounds, this thing has a pretty good amount of them. I haven't had the chance to run it in a full band yet but it doesn't feel like it would get lost in a mix. The rat side of the pedal is mean and LOUD. Not uncontrollably loud though. There is a fair size jump in volume between the rat settings and the GI,SI, & LED settings though, you will have to adjust gain structure to compensate.
If I have time today ill throw together a video review. Pictures at the least.
