No email yet, no pedal.

I don't own a Rat Tail but at the least the Iron Pig would have to be more versatile more types of clipping and the OD/Dist switch. I would also guess that there is more gain in the Iron Pig too.

Found some surprising good tones from the Silicon but can honestly say that the LM308 chip is too compressed for my playing style, I couldn't get it to work at all.

Playing it by myself I thought I was losing lows. But it was just emphasizing the upper mids and sounded awesome when playing with the band.
I get the same sort of vibe with the OD on the Iron Pig. Not saying it is similar to a B3K but that it has that clang to the sound that equals pure cut through in a band mix. |
