Hey guys my EBS Valve drive is cutting out randomly when in bypass any ideas what the problem might be?

Technically there is no such thing as TBP    J/k of course.

It works fine when it it on. If I put it on mute instead of bypass that works. When in bypass mode it cuts out all together, or gets fuzzy randomly, sometimes it works fine. If I push lightly on the bypass stomp when in bypass it fuzzes up gets clear fuzzez up ect.....

Someone on Harmony Central said it was the bypass switch that was the issue and replacing it would clear up the problem. Can anyone confirm this?

If your not familiar with capacitor discharge, you might want to let a qualified electronics repairman show you how! You could possibly get hurt if you don't know what your doing. (there is a surprising amount of stored current in an ac powered pedal like the Valve-Drive!) |
