EBS Metaldrive release date revealed

I felt I should share this with other people interested in this pedal. From the EBS site:

Distortion for bass!
EBS MetalDrive deliver high-gain distortion for use in modern metal music, and other music styles that call for a mean distorted sound. It is based on a customized MultiDrive made for bass player John Moyer of Disturbed. The Black Label Pedals provide great tone for guitar, keyboard and other instruments as well. Smooth working effects with very little or no noise and a fat tone that keep the bottom solid.

The pedal will start shipping from Sweden at the end of June, 2009.

Pretty cool, eh? I think I will be getting one. I do have to add that I am not in any way affiliated with EBS, just a fan of their stuff.

So, it's a modified Multi-Drive? Could be cool, I suppose, but personally, I prefer a light overdrive, or a raging fuzz. That in between stuff is neither, but it still could be a great pedal. thanks.

Thanks for the info, really want to pick one up and use my MultiDrive for a lighter tube style od.

Made for Disturbed's bassist? Turn off.

Don't mean to derail

That is pretty funny! I must admit to not being much of a Distrubed fan but I think this pedal would fit the bill in my metal tribute band for stuff like "Ace of Spades" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls". THen I could use my multidrive on the tube setting for more of an od in my "americana" sort of roots rock band.
