EBS Micro vs Aguilar Tone Hammer

Sign in to disble this ad
So, I need a pedal preamp/DI, and would like it to be able to run into power amp directly, as both of these pedals seem to be able to do -- my question: the Aguilar is 18 volts vs. the 9 volts for the EBS -- does this mean the Aguilar will enable me to get more out of the amp?

Thanks

Kim

not having tried the tone hammer, i don't know what it does compared to the microbass (used to have one of them), but both will drive a power amp just fine.

I'm not sure about the Microbass as I haven't done a comparison, but the Tone Hammer had way more output than any of the Sansamp pedals I've owned. It will more than push a power amp.
