EBS Octabass problem

Sign in to disble this ad
My Octabass won't turn off. As soon as I plug it in, it's on and stays on even after I step on the switch. I haven't used it in a year or so and only recently pulled it for use with a trio that I'm now playing with. Any suggestions on what the problem may be and how to fix it?

Thanks.

The switch might be shorting. Open it up and see if the wire is damaged or in contact with something that it shoudn't be
