I may know soon...

I have one being delivered today. I found a blemished one but of course it was sold even tho it showed in stock when I ordered. So I went ahead and ponied up the extra 30 bucks for a new one. I did a search here a few days ago and from what I read its a well made, useful pedal. I forget his username but one TBer did a rather extensive test of it. I was about to get the Morley PowerWahVolume and just decided to try what seems to be the better quality EBS. I guess I'll know soon enough when big, brown truck rolls up. Its been here so much the past 2 months I may have to designate a UPS parking space out front, been so gassy lately. I mainly need a volume pedal but I can use the wah/envelope feature as well. Its abit pricey at about $200 so if its not what I need I will def be shipping it back for a refund. Have the usual 45 day time frame to decide. Do a search you will find some good info on it.

I have one

It is a great Volume Pedal and nice bass wah.

It is built nice and sturdy and you don't have to pound on it to get it to engage.

off/on??

Ok, had a little time to mess with the new EBS WahOne this morning. Sounds nice, feels tite. I do hate that I have to reach down to change from Volume to Wah mode with the tiny button by pressing with my finger. Now, barefooted I can tap it gently with my heel to go back and forth but I bet it wont be as easy with shoes/boots/tennis on at a gig, in the dark, etc. Minus one for that feature, they should have placed a heavy, chrome style switch along the back or top of casing to be able to reach it more readily. I'll keep practicing my gentle heel tapping and hope that I dont break the tiny black button at a gig where things can get more excited.
I like the red/green LED's for each mode. Ive never owned a pedal like this before, with my old MXR/Boss/DOD boxes back in the day, I would step on the chrome switch on top to engage/disengage those effects. Right now Im having to push the chrome switch located under the foot pedal with my finger to turn it off or on. When I step forward on the pedal it goes all the way down but does not engage the switch, should it(?) Again newbi here so do I need to adjust something somewhere or am I supposed yet again bend down and click that switch by finger each time? Im thinking no, but y'all tell me.

You're supposed to kick it, don't be afraid to hit it hard, that's the way wah pedals are meant to be switched.

Thanks assboglin..

I'd been mostly sitting while playing with it and I guess I was not stepping down hard enough. I just kick the sh*t out of it and the red lite came on, actually I just stepped down a little harder than before and I see now. Your right I was a little scared to stomp on it but I get it now. The pedal does feel very sturdy so I wont be afraid to put it thru its paces now. But again I really wish I did not have to bend down to press that little ass button to go from volume to wah and back again. I hope its a tough pedal cause Im getting the hang of clicking that little black button with my heel pretty good. But you know at gigs things are different, less light, more hurried a little booze as the nite goes on, yeah I'll prolly end up breaking that piddly lil button but I'll be cool with it for now. Thanks again, that was easy.
