EBS Pedal Repair

Sign in to disble this ad
I have two EBS pedals (multicomp and multidrive, no warranty, both were used) that need repair. I emailed EBS with no response, so I thought some of you guys might know a good pedal repair place. Since they are just pedals, shipping them to a good repair guy is no biggie.

Have you tried taking 'em into your local TV or Amp repair shop?

EBS has always promptly replied to all of my questions, though I've never needed anything repaired. By promptly I mean within 24 hours, usually less. And their replies were always very detailed. I personally have nothing but praise for their support thus far.

How long ago did you e-mail them? I think they're in Sweden, so you'll have to be patient because of the time difference.

I don't think there's that big of a time difference. Maybe it slipped through the cracks. Try again and see what happens.

I've emailed them twice about my broken Multicomp, no response. Any other suggestions?

Try the facebook page: EBS Professional Bass Equipment
They seem to be answering to people there. But try to stay general about your problem and not bash on them, that may gives you more chances for an answer. (I'm not saying you were not polite in your email btw...)

Looking at their site, have you filled the warranty work order form?

Alright, I'll try them there.
Yes, I've been general (just that my pedal has a broken footswitch, apparently) and polite

Didn't see that before, I'll fill it out and send it to somebody.

Thanks!

Sometimes when companies have a specific protocol and when they explain the procedure to follow on their site, they may simply discart a request made thru the wrong channel.

Let's hope it will work for you. I've heard many people satisfied with their customer service in the past so I'm confident you'll be taken care of.

I love EBS gear and everytime I played thru their amps and cabs (while on tour in Europe) I've been in heaven tone-wise. I just wished their amps would not cost so much around here and be so rare.

Funny thing: While in Europe many european bass players asked me if I ever played thru an ampeg 8x10. For them it's THE thing and cost like $3000 US (2004-2008 at least) while for us it's so common to see/play one. Different cultures...
