EBS UniChorus volume issue

Sign in to disble this ad
Just picked up a black label (but not the newest true bypass) UniChorus. Overall the tone and effect sounds great.

The only problem is there is a obvious volume boost (10-15%) when the effect is engaged.

It it obviously coming from the effect output as there is no volume change if I turn the internal mix/trim pot all the way over to dry. Setting the trim from it's 12 noon factory default position to about 9 o'clock basically fixes it, but then the effect is a little buried.

Anyone else notice this, have a solution, know if the new "True Bypass" version has corrected this?

Thanks.

Hadn't really noticed. To be honest, I don't use it too much. A chorus effect gets buried when you play in a metal band with 2 Marshall half stacks going. I'll mess around with it and see if I notice this though, as mine is also a black label.
