Hello !
For those who are interested i have a sound sample of EBS Valve Drive.
The equpment used is:
-Warwick streamer LX5 75% neck pickup - on passive mode
-EBS valve drive - vintage mode : mids full on, bass 7-8 o'clock, highs 2 o'clock, gain 12-1 o'clock
-amp: Trace Elliot V-Type all tubes
-cabinet: Ampeg SVT 410HE
The microphones used was: Shure sm57 and beta52
I know it sounds weird without guitars If you want to hear the whole song check the myspace link from my signature, the song is called Pendulum. I mention that in the version from myspace the distortion is blended with DI.

Modern mode
Bass - 11 o'clock
Mid - 1 o'clock
Treble - 9 o'clock
Gain - Full on
I think a lot of people will love that setting. |

Here is the link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...songID=7162511 | I noticed you are using the Valvedrive with yor Warwick in passive mode and I was wondering if you, or anyone else, could tell me how it responds when using an active bass.
Thanks! |

Thanks! | When i use my Warwick on active mode the sound is somehow more compresed... I like it better on passive mode. But the pickups are still active even in passive mode. In passive mode i bypass just the preamp. |

Thing is I'll probably need to sell one of my kidneys to pay for that expensive bastard.
Hooray for GAS...
