EBS Valve Drive vs. HBE Hematoma

OK,

So I've got my tax refund coming in a couple of weeks so I'll have some extra money to buy a pedal.

I'm looking for an overdrive that will still retain my bass's tone, just add a little (to a lot of) dirt.

I've narrowed it down to the EBS Valve Drive, or a Hematoma. I'm open to other suggestions though.

Anyone with experience? Maybe some sound clips?

I'm playing a Peavey Grind 6 into a LMII

Thanks

There are tons of clips for both of those in the Wiki as well.
