I did a little searching but didn't find anything very detailed or helpful. So does anyone have experience with the pedal. Is the tube just a gimmick, or does it really give a nice natural, warm distortion?

I'm guessing by "little" searching you meant "no" searching?

The Valve Drive is great! While the under-tube LED is definitely a 'gimmick', the tone is not.

That link didn't work. I did do a little searching, admittedly not much, but I did search. It's nice to get fresh opinions sometimes. I feel kind of dumb asking a question in a 2 year old thread or something.

Don't be so specific. Go into search and use the google search - valvedrive. You'll find more than the fout threads you have here.

But, yes, it good, however, not as dynamic as other "tube emulators".

Ok,... Sorry that didn't work. Still, many opinions on your question exist here on TB & are easy to find.

Also, by "dynamic" what do you mean? The EBS isn't really a tube emulator, it really has a tube!
