I'm on the lookout for a new delay. I was just about to go ahead and order the Stereo memory man when these two piqued by curiosity. Has anyone had the good fortune to A/B these pedals?

Thanks.

You may also want to consider this: http://www.empresseffects.com/superdelay.php

I just sold my Echolution....sounds amazing, but if you want presets than check out the Timefactor or the Superdelay. A guitar player I play with a lot has the Timefactor. It's another excellent choice. The way the Superdelay is set up makes more sense to me so I went with that.

my guitar player has had both the timefactor and the echolution, and kept and is using the echolution. fantastic sounding pedal...

the problem he had with the timefactor was that when you switch presets, there was a noticable drop out (1/2 a sec or so)...it sounded great, but he couldn't live with that bug...

Thanks for the responses.

Emjazz, did you find the Echolution confusing, or not very intuitive? I'm not that techy myself and I'm taking a chance with anything that has more than one knob.

Fishtx, I've read your previous post, did the patch not work or did your guitarist just decide to ditch it anyway?

Not confusing at all. It's a very intuitive pedal. It does take some time to figure it all out but, again, it's very intuitive. I just decided that I need something with presets. The sound is tops though.
