The Bass Brassmaster / barker assmaster is above.

A Maestro Filter Sample+Hold, and a Lovetone Meatball clone

Juggernaut Clone

MXR Envelope Filter Clone, you might know her as the discumbobulator. Same circuit

A slew of Wima caps going into these and my next batch of pedals.

The Orange Drops are for an origional design. It has to do with tubes, High plate voltages and bass guitar.

Cool! I've got progress of my builds in the FX builders club.

Should have a Phaser of my design(based off a MXR 90 in that it is FET based), a LED based overdrive of my own design, and a multi-filter(Hi, Low, and Band) coming soon as well.

Chicago Mike. Question.
On the B:assmaster. Where did you get the board? Where did you get the info to populate it? I found a PCB at General Guitar Gadgets...but no info on populating the board.
Thanks,
rick

B.C. Post some piccies.

Rick, you get the brass master schematic. That has the part values. the geofex pcb layout has the part numbers so you cross reference them together and viola!..I mean walah! I got the schematic from..ggg, or geofex, or some place like that. Had it for a while.

Building this stuff is fun

I make my own boards, hence they still need to be squared off a little more and are not fully drilled for the pots and stuff yet.

making your own boards is cool, but can be a little "scary" at first. I use the Muriatic Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide method. Works a treat.

I'll play along....

GGG Big Muff just taken out the enclosure for painting...

Tonepad Red Llama clone, just waiting for the 330uf cap...

Red enclosure is the llama, grey (but soon to be green) one is for the muff...

I've been through loads of effects before and now feel less is more (blah, blah, blah!). My little board is gonna be Llama - Muff - TU-2. Excellent!

All I've got right now picture wise is my eched board. Whats the Muriatic Acid Hydrogen Peroxide method? I use the ferric Chloride method.

Real cool method. you can see the process.

I bought more blank pcb's to etch this week. This could almost become an addiction.

Totally, looks like I might be building around 14 pedals.

for now at least..

Undone, nice muff. =)

Hmm, I'd love to build my own effects pedals!

Got any good links to help a newb start doing so?

Sure do!

diyaudio.com
diystompboxes.com
freestompboxes.org
geofex.com or .org, I keep forgetting.

And for tube audio , Apen Pittmans tube amp book
Dave funks tube amp workbook, this has been in print for a long time, I think longer than he's been doing the thunderfunks.
Dan Torres' tube amp book
RCA recieving tube manual
Tonnes of tone and ultimate tone by london power
Mullard tube amp circuits
Both Kendrick books on vintage tube amps

Lots of reading, lots of fun. Try putting those 2 together with hairy potter.. =|

FYI, the Brassmaster from GGG is not correct. There are some errors in the original schematic upon which it's based. I built one a few years ago and it still sounds cool, but not quite the same as the original or the B:assmaster.

I'm kinda embarrassed to post here since the effects posted so far are so much more professional looking than mine. But what the heck, here is a pic of my preamp. It was made on stripboard. And here is the schematic.

If I did it again I would give it less input headroom and more overall gain. This wasn't able to push my Behringer power amp hard enough.

The circuit is offset to the right because I was leaving room to possibly add some EQ.
