Effect loop switcher question

Whenever I use my POG2 with the octaves set up to create a synth pad sound, I always require either reverb or delay to be included in order for the transitions of the progression to be a little bit smoother. I accomplish this with either my Soundblox2 Dimension Reverb, Flashback delay, or both. It is difficult to switch 3 pedals off quickly in order to move from this sound to a clean sound in a song. I know that an effect loop switcher will allow me to chain these pedals to a single switch, but can I still use them individually with this setup? I still need to have the delay, reverb, and POG2 available to use with other sounds individually. What do I need to create a single switch patch, and still have the ability to use each pedal individually?

yes, you can use each pedal by itself. just leave the loop pedal on and turn off whatever pedals you're not using that are in the loop.

When not using all of the effects in the loop simultaneously, a "standard" loop switcher (bypass strip) would require you to turn each individual pedal on and off and then turn the loop switcher on to activate them. The upside is that you can do this silently since the loop will be off, but it requires a lot of tapdancing.

You could also get a programmable loop switcher, which is more expensive, but would allow you to switch on and off any combination of pedals in their loops.
