Effect Switcher/Looper/something?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I've been unsuccessful in finding a stompbox that can do what I'm looking for:
Basically, I'm trying to have two effects chains and have the footswitchable option between series (A->B) and parallel (A+B). What I'm wanting is for the effect chain to default as two series chains, then when I switch this guy on, it'll run the two chains parallel. As far as I can tell, popular pedals like the LS-2 can't do this without adjusting knobs, etc.

Any ideas? Am I just mis-informed about the LS-2? Anybody make these? Or should I just look into getting something like an octaswitch?

No, you are right, the LS-2 would need to change a knob setting. I do believe though that the A->B-> Bypass is not A into B or bypass, but a three way setting. A, stomp, B, stomp, Bypass.

You could always use two of them to get the desired effect. I know Glen Burnie GC has 3 in stock, used for $50 each.

This is a bit convoluted, but it could work and save you some space over the Wounded Paw Ultra Blender.

This schematic is to move a pedal from one spot in your chain to another. You could use it to move a loop from inside your LS-2 (or other parallel looper) to outside your LS-2 and back. If you want to mute the parallel loop when series is selected you would want to remove the orange jumper in the middle and then ground the terminal the orange jumper was connected to top-center. With the jumper removed, in/out 2 must be in the loop of the LS-2.

Send and return is to and from your effect(s), In/out 1 is the signal outside the parallel looper and the in/out 2 is the signal inside the parallel looper.
