So I bought a Brick, because I'm looking to finally make me a pedal board (once I get my trem and a dirt or two, I'm getting it done), and as most of you know, there're 3 18v outputs on the brick. After a bit of searching, I've got nothing terribly conclusive.
I'm wondering, what pedals that operate on higher voltages do you use/recommend? I know everyone's ga-ga about the analog.man Chorus (and believe me, I want one!), and I know the new vertical Semaphores do (also, very much want, but I have a horizontal on the way), but I'm wondering what else is out there. Preferably dirt pedals, as they are my favorite, but anything else?

From what I hear it's a great distortion pedal. |

i don't have much electronic savy... how does one figure out the component ratings?.. and is it just for the capacitors? |

So on one side of the cap..most the time..you'll see something like this:
6.3uf 16V
the uf number we dont need to be concerned of. The V number though..its 2 volts UNDER the 18 coming out of the power supply..this can kill the little sucker and any power spikes that might go thru the unit will definately indeed kill the cap.
so if you see:
6.3uf 25V
then we know we are good to go. The opamps, and other circuit membranes are not as a concern. You can run some opamps with as high as 36 volts! Hence EMG telling you, that you can run 3 batteries.
Its like starving the pedal, running it at 6 volts or even less...its has its own effect on the effect.

Not the other way around.
