Effects Challenged!

Sign in to disble this ad
I've never had to use any type of Effects before, pretty much been a plug-n-play kinda guy. Been messing around with a new band and I need to try and get a "Fretless" Kinda sound outta my Jazz Bass, I guess that's what the sound is? It almost sounds like your amp is under water? I have access to a stereo flanger and a Stereo chorus pedal, Will either one of these help me out?
Thanks for the HELP!!

Chorus, Flanging, Delay, Reverb would be in the ballpark of what you're looing for. Of the bunch chorus is the most used by bass players. Delay or reverb in sparing amounts are often used by electric players trying to sound like an upright. The green Line 6 pedal if you can find one to try has a ton of these kinds of time effects.
