Well I love it, all of it. Nice and weird guys, GREAT JOB! It's alot to take in and from me I'll have to listen to a few more time to catch everything that's going on on all the tracks.

This is some pretty rad stuff dudes. I dig the variety too, all of it is weird but it isn't like listening to 2 hours of feedback (not that there is anything wrong with that).

I'm impressed. A lot of variety. Different interpretations of "noise".

Any chance we can get an mp3 version? I'm not a fan of ACC. I could a high quality VBR mp3 version if someone sends me the .wav files. Maybe even a FLAC version.

Great job guys! Awesome noises!

Mr. Pickles:

Let us know when you're ready to do a "Noise II" album. I'll try to get a contribution in.

Ermmm that was bad arse. Everyone do yourself a favor and make sure to listen to Intumescence with headphones on. I almost lost my equilibrium on that, nice use of stereo, bigchief. Thanks Pickles and thanks everyone for putting together a fine product. I eagerly await a second.

This is awesome. It takes a particularly cool place to have people join up and produce something like this.

Aw crap. Señor Pickles, send me the wav files and I'll put wav and mp3 versions up.

EDIT: When I was a Windowser I think Winamp played m4a files just fine. I think.

I found several players and/or converters that would deal with m4as, but nothing that I have any actual use for beyond listening to this compilation. I settled on Foobar, which was the least bloated, simplest player I could find with minimal effort. It works fine and I've had a quick listen now -- nice work all!

I won't feel hurt if you guys want to just leave things as they are, but wav files would be my strong preference.

I used itunes to convert the files to AAC. For some reason, I didn't have the option to convert to mp3. I'll find a solution today.

Thanks for the positive "feedback."

To those listening on quality systems - how is the production as a whole?

Thanks. Alesis Ampliton is what I used for the stereo panning, it is a fantastic unit.

Over all very clear, there are few with slight volume differences but they are very small, I don't hear a lot of artifacts either which is important. A few of them [like mine] really need a sub to get full effect what what is going on, so you can get a real pounding experience.

Ah, that's what I was wondering as I didn't mix with a sub.
There were some issues with original tracks being clipped, but that was beyond my ability to control or correct (he said humbly). Glad it is not interfering with the production as a whole.

Now, to contact Cakewalk and ask why the hell there isn't an mp3 encoder included with SONAR 8.5 Pro.

I can do a mp3 encoding with LAME if you send me the wav files.

+1.

By the way, I'd like to say that you and I make a wonderful, cross-coastal, independent-of-each-other noise duo.
