I’ve got an old DOD bass chorus and even when switched off the light was on, though a little dimmer then when the pedal was actually in use. Jack leads were connected. I wondered if the batter was on the way out so I changed it and it seems OK now but can a dying battery cause this? |

| | | | I had an old baby blue DOD Chorus pedal that used to do the same exact thing.
Why? I don't know. |

That wouldn't make sense since you LED is drawing more current, sounds more like an internal LED/Bypass issue.
